Private Lessons

Tuition includes 12 weeks of lessons per quarter. One week per quarter we will be off for holidays and spring break.

For cancellations, please give 24 hours notice. If advanced notice is given, then $25 (for 30 minute lessons) or $40 (for 45 minute lessons) will be applied towards the next payment. If I cancel a lesson I will also credit the same amounts.

If enough notice is given we can first try to reschedule the lesson, but is not guarantee.

Payment is to be given to the teacher by the first lesson of each month for the upcoming. If payment is not received by the second lesson that month then lessons will be suspended until payment is received. A bounced check fee will apply.

Forms of payment include Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, cash, and check.

We have two recitals a year held in the spring and winter. 

I will be your child’s accompanist unless your child has advanced to a higher level of repertoire requiring a more advanced pianist. In that case we can find a suitable accompanist to hire.

Arrive 30 minutes early to unpack, tune, and run through a few bars on stage. Do not be late! 

Please stay for the duration of the whole recital.

Lessons go until the end of the scheduled time regardless of if the child arrived late.

Parents are encouraged to be present during the lesson, especially for elementary school children. Feel free to come to me with any concerns. I value the perspective of the parents.
